FAQs
When should I book my session/event?
Session: Typically, I recommend that you book sessions at least 1 month ahead of the date you want to schedule the shoot. This gives us time to find the perfect location for your shoot, book a studio (if you’re looking for an indoor session), and it also allows for you to have time to find the perfect outfit!
Weddings/Quinceañeras: Photography is one of the very first things that should get booked along with your venue! Do not take the risk and wait until the last minute! Quality photographers are booked months/years ahead of time and will not be available if you try to book last minute. I’m heartbroken when I get inquiries 2-3 months before the event and the date is already booked.
How long will it be until I get back my gallery of images?
Session: Approx. 2-3 Weeks
Wedding/Quinceañera: Approx. 8-10 weeks
Please take this into consideration when you are booking a shoot for something that is time sensitive like birthdays, holiday sessions for cards, invitations, etc.
What time of day is best for my session?
Outdoor Sessions: We all love golden hour. This is when the softest natural light is available and will not only help you glow, but it will also help us achieve those beautiful sky backgrounds!
I don’t know of location to use for my shoot… what do I do?
As long as you have an idea of what you want, I can help with finding the perfect location!
Are you willing to travel?
Definitely!
What if I need to reschedule?
Outdoor sessions: You may reschedule up until 14 days before the original date of the session.
Studio sessions: Reschedules will depend on the respective studio availability and rules.
There is a $25 rescheduling fee for both of these.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable. This is because time is invested into booking your session and working out all the details entailing it. Booking studio, contracts, props, gear purchases. That is what your deposit covers.
How long have you been doing photography?
I’ve been shooting since 2016. It was until 2018 that I began my photography business.
